Outreach to Chashinama Village
Dear Family and Friends,
We pray you are all doing well with your families by God’s grace. We know the whole world is going through a difficult time in history, but our God is in control. He promised to be with us always. We want to continue to update you as we work together in touching the lives of God’s people. We thank God for the opportunity he has given us to be able to reach out to those most in need especially in Zambia.
Because of your generous support, on Friday June 5th Tower of Strength Ministries was able to do another outreach impacting over seventy families. These were all widows and orphans in the village of Chashanama who had no food in their homes. There are many who have newborn babies and no formula. We provided for each family, one fifty pound bag of cornmeal, sugar, cooking oil, salt and seven different families baby formula. Lollipops and bags of Cheetos were given to all the kids.
Below you can see one of the homesteads we visited. This widow lives here with her three sons. The sons live in the hut with plastic garbage bags on it to keep the rain out. The mom stays in the hut in the upper right.They were the first family to say that they had no food at all.
As I have told everyone before, most of the young men and women have all died from HIV and aids. Leaving most of the elderly grandmas there to take care of the families.
This is a call from God! Would you respond to the invitation to partner with Him and us as we go to rescue those who are in the most desperate need. We want to say to all of you who have responded to this call. THANK YOU. May the Lord richly bless you and bless the work of your hands, your business and all that you do. For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which you have shown towards His name. Hebrews 6:10. We want you to know we pray for you all and your families.
